The first ever Cocktails Spirits trade show in France attracted over 1.000 visitors from 25-26th May, 2008. During two days, bar professionals were able to discover new products and the latest trends for the coming year.

Cocktails Spirits brought together the international bar community and enabled The Traveling Mixologists (Germany), The Fabulous Shaker Boys (Netherlands) as well as The Worldwide Cocktail Club (UK) to demonstrate their skills and share their knowledge.

Walking through the stands in the various categories – Vodka, Gin, Tequila, Rum, Whisky, Cognac & Liquors – offered a snapshot ot the French market. Focused on premium brands, Cocktails Spirits showcased the newest arrivals in the spirits world.

From precise techniques to forgotten French classics, the various themed demonstrations provided an overview of new trends in mixology. Famous chef Thierry Marx even revealed his recipe for molecular Bloody Mary.

Last but not least, the Exposition Universelle des Vins et des Spiritueux (E.U.V.S.) gave an exclusive preview of the museum that opened its door on 9th july on the Ile de Bendor.
